Welcome to Gutty's Comedy Club
Gutty's Comedy Club© started as a dream back in summer of 2003. The show consist of Stand Up , Floetry (spoken word), sketch comedy, improv, live music, and local talent. We were able to host three huge successful shows ranging 200-250 poeple in the Lake County area. We knew we were on to something big, but it was hard trying to find a home for Gutty's so we ventured out north to Wisconsin. We knew within ourselves that Gutty's was made to help our community, friends, and loved ones. People who need to laugh because of what we go through everyday. We kept telling ourselves, "We have to make this happen, if we can't make this happen eventually THIS place has to happen."
Since the Beginning of January 2010 we've hosted 4 successful shows In Racine Wisconsin with headlining comedians such as Horace H.B Sanders and Michael Jr. and help launch a comedy crew. " The BS Comedy Show " created by Brent Stackhouse and the founder of Gutty's Comedy Club Steve Rivera©. The Crew consist of six writers and the nine most talented actors the Midwest has to offer. In 2011 Steve brought Garrett Lindquist onto the Gutty's Crew. Based on the amazing fans of Gutty's and the outstanding groups of people that attend the BS comedy Show, Garrett's purpose is to transform these groups not only into a thriving community, but a family. This decision is when it struck us, this is our home, let's find a place to make history here in the area.
Gutty's Comedy Club© will find a place to house the best of the best and join the rest of them out there as one of the premiere places to be for entertainment.
